Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Jester is outside the area we serve. About 1,331 km from our location in Toronto, Jester is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Most trips to Jester start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Because Jester is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. For anything about Jester, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

What to expect

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Your booking, in three steps

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Checking your details

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
