Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What is different here

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

Know the area

Neighbouring areas include Johnson City, Clackamas and Oatfield.

The nearest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX), about 21 km away.

What to expect when you book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
