Car Rental in Johnson, TX

About renting in Johnson

This page is for Johnson, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below are our own listings, each with photos of that car.

Our area

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Johnson. About 2,242 km separate central Toronto and Johnson, far past our 80 km delivery area.

For Johnson itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Johnson if you like. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Common reasons to rent

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Why this way of renting

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Booking, step by step

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Checking your details

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
