Renting with CarmaCars in Kaiser

Car Rental in Kaiser: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. There is no instant booking: every request is read by a person.

Where we work

We do not have a location in Kaiser; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. With Kaiser about 1,266 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

Visiting Toronto from Kaiser? We can meet you with a car when you arrive. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. A request about Kaiser gets an honest answer from a person. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

What to expect

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Common reasons to rent

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

The rules, briefly

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

What to expect when you book

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
