Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. A request is free and commits you to nothing. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

Who rents this way

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Checking your details

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
