What to expect

Typical renters

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

The steps

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Next step

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
