Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Booking with CarmaCars

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
