Good fits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. A request is free and commits you to nothing. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget.

Before pickup

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Booking in plain terms

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Still deciding?

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
