A car for Laclede

If you need a rental car in Laclede, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You choose the car online, send a request without paying, and a person sends you the full price.

Honest about Laclede

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Laclede is outside the area we serve. At roughly 1,233 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Laclede is outside our delivery area.

For Laclede itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Laclede if you like. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Reasons people rent from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. One small team handles your request from start to finish. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget.

Who rents this way

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Who qualifies

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Your request, our offer, your keys

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Over to you

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
