Car Rental for Laughlin

This page is for Laughlin, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates on this page start at $50 a day.

Honest about Laughlin

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Laughlin. By straight line Laughlin is about 1,052 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

For Laughlin itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. For anything about Laughlin, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Who this suits

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Why CarmaCars

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Driver requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Request, offer, keys

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Next step

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
