Car Rental in Lima, WI

Getting a car in Lima

Searching for car rental in Lima? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates are per car, so you can choose by budget.

Our area

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Lima. We rent from Toronto. Lima lies about 1,009 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For Lima itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Send a request with what you need in Lima, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Common reasons to rent

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

The useful parts

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Lima at a glance

The pages for Tarrant, Laneville and Durand cover the areas next door.

Chippewa Valley Regional Airport is the nearest airport, roughly 40 km away.

Licence, age and card

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What happens when you ask for a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Next step

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
