The details that matter

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too.

When it makes sense

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

What happens when you ask for a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

What we need from you

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Over to you

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
