What happens when you ask for a car

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Who can rent

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
