Car Rental in Lupton, explained

This page is for Lupton, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You see the full price in the offer before you decide.

What CarmaCars covers

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Lupton. About 1,298 km in a straight line separate Lupton from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

For the days before or after a flight to Lupton, we can have a car for you in Toronto. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Send a request about Lupton, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Who this suits

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why this works

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Request, offer, keys

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

The rules, briefly

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
