What is different here

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

The rules, briefly

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

The booking steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Ready when you are

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
