Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Appleton, MD

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Appleton

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Appleton: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. In short: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing to send.

Reach and distance

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Appleton is outside our area. At roughly 534 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Appleton is outside our delivery area.

Coming from the Toronto area? You can start the trip to Appleton in a car rented from us. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. If you want to check something for Appleton, send a request; a person replies honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why this works

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

When it makes sense

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Renting: the basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

How it works

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
