Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Igloo, SD

Renting in Igloo

This page is for Igloo, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. How it works: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

What to expect

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You can rent again later with the same account and details. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Who it is for

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

How renting with us works

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we check

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Still deciding?

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
