Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Make Shift Estates

This page is for Make Shift Estates, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

What to expect

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

Good fits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Your booking, in three steps

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Rules for renters

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Over to you

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
