Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Raspberry, BC

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers: Raspberry

This page is for Raspberry, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Good to know: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Every car on the site shows its own rates, deposit and kilometres included.

Distance, honestly

We do not have a location in Raspberry; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Raspberry is about 2,967 km away.

For Raspberry itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Tell us what you need in Raspberry, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Why a rental from us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Who this suits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Licence, age and card

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Request, offer, keys

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

When you know your dates

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
