Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Sharp, TX

How renting works in Sharp

Planning a trip between Toronto and Sharp? CarmaCars rents in Toronto, in Canadian dollars. In short: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. You see the full price in the offer before you decide.

Flying to Sharp from Toronto? We can meet you at Toronto Pearson with a car when you land back. Because Sharp is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. If you want to check something for Sharp, send a request; a person replies honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Reasons people rent from us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Typical renters

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
