Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Renting: the basics

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How renting with us works

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
