Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Sutter, CA

Renting in Sutter

If you need a rental car in Sutter, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. How it works: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Prices are before 13% HST, and your offer shows the total before you pay.

Who it is for

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Why this works

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

What happens when you ask for a car

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Who can rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
