Car Rental in Lyda, CA

Car Rental: Lyda

This page is for Lyda, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. For this kind of rental: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists its rates for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month.

Where CarmaCars works

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Lyda is outside our area. About 3,634 km from central Toronto, Lyda is too far for our delivery area of about 80 km.

For Lyda itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Questions about Lyda? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

The useful parts

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

Common reasons to rent

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

The rules, briefly

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

How to book

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
