Cars for Malibu

Searching for car rental in Malibu? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. All prices are before tax; the offer shows the total.

Our area and Malibu

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Malibu. From our location in Toronto, Malibu is about 3,549 km away in a straight line; we deliver within about 250 km.

If you are flying from Toronto to Malibu, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Because Malibu is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Send a request with what you need in Malibu, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why rent with us in Malibu

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

Typical renters

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What to have ready

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

One more step

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
