Why CarmaCars

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. We answer questions before you book, not only after. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Your booking, in three steps

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Next step

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
