What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking with CarmaCars

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
