Why people choose us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too.

Who this suits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Booking with CarmaCars

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
