About renting in McGregor

If you need a rental car in McGregor, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You can compare rates car by car before you ask for anything.

A note on distance

CarmaCars has no branch in McGregor. We rent from one location in Toronto. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and McGregor is about 2,308 km away.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for McGregor we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about McGregor if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

What is different here

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

When it makes sense

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Driver basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

From your dates to the handover

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Make a request

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
