About renting in McKey

Car Rental in McKey: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Prices are before 13% HST, and your offer shows the total before you pay.

What we can do for McKey

Our only location is in Toronto; McKey is outside the area we serve. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; McKey is about 1,619 km away.

If you are flying from Toronto to McKey, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. If you still want to ask about McKey, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Why rent with us in McKey

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. We answer questions before you book, not only after. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay.

Who this suits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking in plain terms

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Questions first?

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
