CarmaCars and Mendon

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Mendon is outside our area. The distance is about 1,073 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

Most trips to Mendon start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. Unsure? Send a request about Mendon, and we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Worth knowing

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Who rents this way

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Who can rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Booking, step by step

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
