Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Common reasons to rent

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Requesting a car

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Checking your details

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
