Car Rental in Midway, BC

Car Rental in Midway, explained

If you need a rental car in Midway, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Requests are answered by a person, by email and in your account.

A note on distance

Midway is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Midway is about 3,050 km out.

Most trips to Midway start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. If you are unsure whether we can help with Midway, ask; we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Typical renters

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Requesting a car

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Before pickup

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Make a request

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
