Good fits

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

The useful parts

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

How a booking comes together

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
