What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

Good fits

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

The rules, briefly

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How to book

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
