What you get

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay.

Typical renters

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Checking your details

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

What to expect when you book

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Next step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
