What we cover

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Mount Harmony is outside the area we serve. The distance is about 605 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. If you still want to ask about Mount Harmony, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Common reasons to rent

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

What is different here

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

How renting with us works

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Ready when you are

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
