What we check

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How it works

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
