Car Rental in Munro

Car Rental in Munro, explained

CarmaCars is a local option in Munro, with prices you see before you pay. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing to send.

Driving in and around Munro

Neighbouring areas include Brandy Point, Fullarton and Russeldale.

For flights, Centralia/James T. Field Memorial Aerodrome (YCE) is about 27 km away. In winter, ask for winter tires: they are an add-on on the cars that offer them.

Trip ideas

For a day out, Muskoka is roughly 170 km away, with cottage country and the lakes around Gravenhurst. There is also Tobermory, about 300 km by road, for the Bruce Peninsula and its clear water. Your kilometre allowance is the daily amount times the days you book, used however you like. Ask before any border crossing: it needs our written consent.

Who this suits

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

What to expect

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

How you get the car

A car can be brought to you in Munro, roughly 163 km from our location in Toronto. Delivery is quoted in your offer, never added later.

There is no charge to collect the car from us yourself. At the handover we walk around the car together and note its condition. Arriving by plane? Ask for a handover at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

From your dates to the handover

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Checking your details

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
