Car Rental in Newell, SD

Your car in Newell

This page is for Newell, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Requests are answered by a person, by email and in your account.

Our area and Newell

Newell is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. By straight line Newell is about 1,920 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Heading to Newell by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. If you need a car in Newell itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

When it makes sense

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Why people choose us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Requirements

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

What happens when you ask for a car

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
