Getting a car in Ocean

Planning a trip between Toronto and Ocean? CarmaCars rents in Toronto, in Canadian dollars. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists its rates for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month.

CarmaCars and Ocean

Our only location is in Toronto; Ocean is outside the area we serve. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Ocean, about 463 km away, is beyond that.

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Questions about Ocean? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Who rents from us

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Reasons people rent from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

The rules, briefly

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

How it works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Over to you

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
