Who rents from us

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What to expect

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. One small team handles your request from start to finish. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

The booking steps

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
