Worth knowing

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Typical renters

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Renting: the basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Booking, step by step

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

One more step

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
