Why CarmaCars

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too.

Booking made plain

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Driver basics

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
