Car Rental in Palmview, TX

How renting works in Palmview

This page is for Palmview, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Requests are answered by a person, by email and in your account.

Toronto based

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Palmview. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Palmview is about 2,599 km out.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Palmview we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. Unsure? Send a request about Palmview, and we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Why rent with us in Palmview

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

Who this suits

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

What we ask of drivers

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Request, offer, keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
