What is different here

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

How a booking comes together

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Driver requirements

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
