When it makes sense

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Reasons people rent from us

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

What to have ready

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
