What we check

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How booking works

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
