Before you plan around us

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Perry. By straight line Perry is about 953 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Visiting Toronto from Perry? We can meet you with a car when you arrive. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. For anything about Perry, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Who this suits

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

What happens when you ask for a car

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Rules for renters

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
