Why people choose us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

When it makes sense

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

What to expect when you book

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What to have ready

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
