Car Rental in Philips, AB

Renting with CarmaCars in Philips

Car Rental in Philips: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The offer shows the full price before you pay anything.

Our area and Philips

Philips is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. At roughly 2,575 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Philips is outside our delivery area.

Back from Philips and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Unsure? Send a request about Philips, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

When it makes sense

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

The useful parts

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

How booking works

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Before you rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

When you know your dates

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
